Who Is Steve Comisar

Steve Comisar, Scam Junkie Podcast Host

Steve Comisar, also known by his alias Brett Champion and ‘The Don of Con’, is the brains behind Scam Junkie – a highly rated podcast that sheds light on white-collar crimes. As an ex-con man, Steve’s extensive knowledge about fraudulent schemes gives him a unique perspective to educate listeners about these often overlooked crimes. After serving time in prison for fraud and being released in 2018, his acting career seemed bleak; it was then that he decided to start a podcast sharing his experience as one of America’s most notorious con men.

Comisar has an interesting history intertwining both Hollywood and high-level scams. Not only is he recognized as the only famous actor who was also involved in large-scale cons, but after being incarcerated for fraud, Steve rebranded himself as Brett Champion – a consumer watchdog committed to preventing others from falling victim to scams like those he once perpetrated. His best-selling book “America’s Guide to Fraud Prevention” became widely respected within the industry and helped establish him as a leading authority on fraud prevention.

What I Least Like

Despite the podcast’s compelling content and unique perspective, there are a few areas where it falls short. Firstly, the inconsistency in volume levels across episodes can be frustrating for listeners. Having to constantly adjust your device’s volume just to hear the show clearly is not ideal, and could detract from one’s overall listening experience. Secondly, irregular release of new episodes can cause disappointment among followers who eagerly anticipate fresh content regularly.
