Wanting to preserve his nerd mind, Jared transplanted it into the ether (tv head) and thus, What An Oddcast was born. 

Anthony Denney, the co-founder and Jared’s partner in crime, is depicted as the robot in the podcast cover art. Loyal and supportive, he has been with Jared since the very beginning, discussing their favorite topics and creating an engaging space for their fellow nerds. 

Mikeal Kennedy and Sven joined the team about two years into the podcast’s journey. Mike, a dedicated worker, and Sven, a dark being summoned to help with the network, both contribute their unique perspectives and interests to the show. Together, they have helped build a “lore” around the What An Oddcast podcast, making it even more intriguing for its listeners.

What I Do Not

As much as I enjoyed tuning in to the What An Oddcast podcast, I couldn’t help but notice a somewhat irritating aspect that caught my attention during the show. Picture this: you’re fully immersed in the conversation, hanging onto every word the hosts are saying, and then suddenly – crunch! The distinct sound of someone munching on chips in the background jolts you back to reality. It’s like being in a movie theater with that one person who just can’t seem to eat their popcorn quietly. A bit annoying, right? 

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no sound quality snob, but there’s a fine line between creating a relaxed vibe and coming across as a little unprofessional. 

Of course, this minor hiccup doesn’t take away from the overall well-produced nature of the podcast. The hosts are engaging, the topics are interesting, and the banter between them is genuinely enjoyable.
