Among the best fantasy football podcasts is ESPN Fantasy Focus Football.
We highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking to get the most out of their fantasy football experience. Read our review to learn more about why this show is one of the top picks among fantasy football enthusiasts.
Let’s Dig Into The Podcast
Fantasy Focus Football ESPN is a sports talk podcast dedicated to fantasy football stories and breakdowns.
The podcast is hosted by ESPN Fantasy experts Matthew Berry, Field Yates, Stephania Bell, Mike Clay, and Daniel Dopp. Fantasy Focus Football provides you with everything you must know, from club squads and scores to plays and injuries.
The hosts evaluate the week’s game plays. Then, they share their verdict on selecting their list of players of the week and fantasy options based on thoroughly examining the line-up. These episodes delve further than fantasy football and are the most profitable way to keep up-to-date with all that’s happening in the league.
Airing five days every week during football season, this podcast features a more consistent break than the hosts would acknowledge between football discussion and big old podcast nonsense. In the absence of the best expression, these fellas have a little fun.
The Fantasy Focus Football pod invariably ranks near the top of the iTunes podcast rankings, and it was the #1 audio podcast in August 2009 on all of iTunes. And at PodcastAwards.com, the show has been proclaimed the “Best Sports Podcast” in 2009, 2011, and 2012 and won the overall “People’s Choice” podcast in 2009 and 2012.
Why Fantasy Focus Football Is A Must Listen To Podcast?
The ESPN Fantasy Focus Football podcast delivers precisely what you’d hope for in an ESPN show. Prominent talent, high-quality production, and lots of fantasy understanding. If it’s ESPN, it means you’ll receive the latest news and genuine insight from some of the best NFL journalists in the industry.
This podcast gives a headstart into today’s super-competitive fantasy football space. It’s one of the primary explanations it consistently ranks among the top ten podcasts on iTunes all season.
The National Football League (NFL) is the greatest organized sporting league in the world, and I think fantasy is a terrific way for fans to become involved with the NFL. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the podcast has managed to figure out a way to keep listeners briefed 5 days a week by relocating into a new studio.
Fantasy Focus Football is not the usual podcast. It’s more like a bunch of people talking over fantasy football, contradicting each other, sharing amusing stories, and giving advice. And the hosts do it like a fantasy guru. Perhaps the best NFL hosts on ESPN – reliable power and conditioning experts who analyze scores and are best with stats.
The show is more like you are sitting with your friends giving newsflash, but also making you part of their league for an hour or so each episode.
For those interested in Fantasy Football or who are into the game, ESPN’s Fantasy Focus is your option for the inspiring and fun show in the industry.
What’s Not So Good About It?
Excellent analysis! But to Matthew and the Fantasy Focus crew, the comedy attempts and sidetracked conversations on the podcast are too much and too repetitive. When they become immersed in a fiery football discussion, they are top-notch in those instances.
I also cannot stand Daniel yelling unexpectedly and being extremely animated when it’s just unnecessary. Furthermore, I can’t disregard his practice of saying people’s full names nearly all the time he talks to someone.
The pod truly misses Matthew Berry and Liz Loza, but listeners can still enjoy the constant flow of insights with the new crew.
