Meet Robbie Wagner and Chuck Carpenter, the dynamic duo hosting your favorite podcast, Whiskey Web And Whatnot.
Hailing from Virginia, Robbie is a web developer with an undying love for creating things – be it mint-flavored water in third grade or custom MySpace layouts for bands. Over his 13-year web development career, he’s played around with everything from PHP and jQuery to EmberJS and Angular. Despite the allure of new tech frameworks constantly popping up, Robbie admits that Ember holds a special place in his heart.
In fact, his passion for Ember led him to start an own consultancy named Ship Shape back in 2017 where he had the chance to work with big names like Apple, Netflix and Expel. Currently working at ART19 (an Amazon company), you can find him coding away in EmberJS and building next-gen podcast hosting tools.
On the other hand, we have Chuck Carpenter – an engineering leader by profession who enjoys solving client issues when not co-hosting Whiskey Web And Whatnot alongside Robbie. Apart from being an ace code slinger himself, Chuck’s other interests include playing football (the proper one) and occasionally taking long walks on the beach.
Together these two bring their combined decades of experience and unique insights into every episode of Whiskey Web And Whatnot while discussing the tech topic du jour over a new glass of whiskey each week.
