Overview of Leading With Integrity Podcast

Leading with Integrity is a podcast specifically tailored for new leaders, managers, or first-time founders in specialist-driven businesses and teams. The core aim of this podcast is to help these individuals become more effective as people-first leaders and guide their teams towards productivity and satisfaction. It achieves this through weekly discussions featuring accomplished leaders, leadership experts, entrepreneurs, and business owners who have already traversed the path of leadership.

The topics covered are diverse yet crucial to modern leadership strategies. For instance, there’s an episode dedicated to Resilience and Well-being in a Fast-Paced World – a key concern for many leaders today. Another noteworthy discussion revolves around emulating the leadership style of a Four-Star General, while another focuses on steering clear of Toxic Cultures within an organization.

David Hatch hosts the podcast; he believes that positive memories about great bosses should be as abundant as tales about obnoxious ones. He aims to change perceptions by making excellent leadership commonplace rather than rare events that we recount over time.

This platform also serves as an online community where new leaders can share their challenges and questions openly, attend regular events, and benefit from early access to podcast episodes featuring some of the world’s most inspiring role models in leadership & management. They can also access practical resources & courses designed by David himself..

In essence, Leading with Integrity not only provides listeners with valuable insights but also offers support that every leader needs when they’re responsible for supporting their team.

Who Is David Hatch

David Hatch, Leading With Integrity Podcast Host

David Hatch, the host and founder of the Leading with Integrity podcast, has spent his career in small businesses & start-ups, primarily within the aerospace sector. He co-founded a UK ‘new space’ company and more recently founded Leading with Integrity. Since 2019, he has worked extensively with leaders in innovative start-ups and small businesses offering an array of services like leadership mentoring, strategic consulting as well as programme and project management.

David is particularly passionate about building a community for new managers, directors or first-time founders who are facing the first transition point in their leadership journey. A testament to his dedication towards leadership is evident from his past experiences; rising through ranks while being part of the Air Cadets – a youth organization in the UK, where he first encountered poor leadership styles characterized by arrogance and blame games.

David believes you don’t have to know everything as a leader – it’s okay not to know something. His philosophy on effective leadership boils down to three principles: leading by example, which fosters trust; collaboration, because good leadership is essentially communicative; and prioritizing wellbeing & enjoyment, due to our considerable time at work.

Being an experienced leader himself within small business setups, along with being an ardent fan of Star Trek (especially admiring Captain Jean-Luc Picard’s style), he brings unique perspectives into play throughout his ventures, including this podcast platform. Recognizing that there isn’t one universal answer for ideal ethical authentic leadership, nor does he claim to have all answers – David founded the Leading with Integrity podcast hoping it would serve as a guide helping others discover their own distinct path towards becoming exceptional leaders.
