Introduction To Money For The Rest Of Us Podcast

David Stein

David Stein – Creator and Host of Money For the Rest of Us

Money For The Rest Of Us is hosted by David Stein. The host is a Chief Investment Strategist and money manager

who helps our investors expand their investment knowledge.

This podcast aims to make an investor aware of what is happening around the world of stocks and expand their knowledge about investing. Moreover, it will help investors learn about the economy and the best time to invest. It is a finance show and is shared for general education. The host, David Stein, is also a writer for bookworm listeners.

Money For The Rest Of Us is an educational monologue with an upbeat tone. It feels like you are in a classroom with a cheerful and encouraging professor teaching about investment. Each episode usually takes twenty minutes and releases an episode every Wednesday.

Why You Should Listen To This Podcast

Each episode is generally educational, especially on what is on the trend and current events worldwide. The host, David Stein, is a great host in how he delivers his podcast episodes. And his tone is upbeat, which makes you convinced that he knows what he is saying. I love how he helps all the investors, especially beginners like me, who just learned about investment basics, to be aware of our surroundings. Also, learning about the economy and being smart with our decision-making on investment is practical for current events.

The length of each episode is short but fully rich with information from the host. Short episodes like this are convenient for the audience with a short attention span, and the host is direct to the point during the discussion. The insights of every episode from the host are his genuine thoughts and well-researched topics for the discussion about investment.

What I like about this is that it makes you feel attentive to the discussion and is informative. I think it is not boring and bland when he delivers the episode’s conversation. His tone is upbeat and engaging. The way he explains the topic is simple, making you want to participate in his “classroom” and have a healthy conversation with him aligned with the subject.

Besides that, it gives you the feeling that you are attending a Ted talk with him. In his talks, he shares his thoughts on investment and trending products around the world. How he talks about his experience and what advice he can share regarding the discussion. He is also honest that his thoughts are based on what he may be able to understand, and he is still learning about the economy.

Main Ideas Highlighted In The Money For The Rest Of Us Podcast

  • Investing in the Stock Market: Deep dive into the stock market and learn the basics of investing and navigating the stock market. The podcast covers buying and selling stocks, understanding stock performance, risk management, and portfolio diversification.

Areas Of Dissatisfaction With The Podcast

Personally, I do not like the long fillers of each episode talking about the same product that he will advertise. Since each episode is already short, it has an average length of twenty minutes. I prefer an episode with continuous discussion since the information is not even information overload. Unlike other podcasts that will take an episode of approximately forty-five to an hour.

The podcast is not beginner friendly for an audience who just entered the podcast world and wants to start with an investment podcast. The discussion of every episode is purely for individual investors who experience the struggle of investment with only basic knowledge. Even for myself, I only have a little understanding of investment and finance, so I have to search for the terms David says that do not make sense.

Final Thoughts On Money For The Rest Of Us Podcast

Listening to the podcast is actually on point with their goal, as the target audience for this is experienced individual investors or newly started investors with a basic knowledge of stocks and investment. The discussion on each episode is short, with a few long-fillers, but it is purely informative and related to the conversation.

I don’t recommend this for beginners who started listening to an investment podcast without knowledge of the basic core for stocks and investment. However, once you have the knowledge, even without the experience, this podcast will be one of the stepping stones for your journey as an investor.

If you want to take your investing journey to the next level, listen to the Money For The Rest Of Us podcast. It’s the perfect place to start for any aspiring investor.
